It's probably about time.  I'd like to do one more public release first.  I 
just committed some code to CVS yesterday that allows jackd(8) to be 
automatically started and stopped by Rivendell, which basically means that 
using 'standard' soundcards with it should now be pretty much of a snap -- no 
more mucking around with jackd.  As soon as that's proven stable (another day 
or three), I'll roll another release.  Then -- let's go for it.
