And the module name is stereocoder.

I have not had as much time to work on this as I would have liked (a multi
million pound building referb. that is my real work has just gone prompt
critical!).

My current plan is to have the stereo encoder run as a daemon with control via
the OSC protocol using liblo from Steve Harris which provides the network
transparent remote control in a very easy to implement way.

Relax fred:
I will write another daemon to handle RML to OSC mapping for the interesting
cases.

Should get you the code.

There is the bare beginnings of a website at http://www.spamblock.demon.co.uk,
if anyone wants to contribute a web design that does not suck it would be
welcome, my HTML is err weak.

The link to the Louderbox stuff is broken, because I have not had time to
write the HTML yet, and the dependencies list for stereocoder is wrong at the
moment (no QT or KDE Libs needed at present).

BTW Fred, how does Rivendell handle things like 2 studios with the control
signals interacting with offer/accept logic, the RML for things like now
playing would have to be switched to the encoder along with the audio?

I can trivially implement an offer/accept switching system in jack but
switching the UDP data stream so that only the on air studio controls the RDS
is going to be a little more tricky.

Regards, Dan (Who is considering building an 'RSL in a box' kit with Rivendell
for the playout, a CM Labs Motormix controlling a jack based audio mixer, and
all the bells and whistles - not sure the market really exists however).

BTW: John, did we meet at strawberry fair (Cambridge) a few years ago?
I know Radica do not do studio stuff and I thought I knew the scene in this
country....
